I picked up a cheap SMS F90 Gundam conversion kit from the Hobby Fanatics forums as it seemed like the perfect way to use an already snapped MG Wing Ka kit that I picked up from eBay along with a complete MG Wing Zero Custom on the cheap.
After an hour or so working on the SMS F90, most of the armour pieces have been fitted to the MG Wing’s frame. Most parts fit quite nicely but a few are a bit loose. A little bit of super glue on the pegs or slots makes the fit a bit tighter.
The torso has been the most time consuming part as you have to trim the frame down in some parts for the external armour to fit to it, but once you’ve trimmed it properly they fit quite nice. Some of the parts are a bit thin so I’ve had to be overly careful to make sure I don’t break them, this is most notable around the legs.
